Do I need to know the BPM?
No. The tempo is measured from the file in your browser before anything is uploaded, using onset detection across the audio, and the detected BPM is shown on screen so you can check it against what you expect.
Does it match lyrics to BPM?
Tempo estimates guide the lyric draft, but do not guarantee a perfect fit. Speak or sing the result over your instrumental and adjust stresses, pauses and crowded lines.
Is Beat Matcher available on the free plan?
Yes. Beat Matcher costs 4 credits from the shared monthly pool on any plan — the free plan includes 14 credits a month, so a free account can run beat-matched lyrics and still have credits left for a full AI song.
What file can I upload?
Any common audio format your browser can decode, up to 15 MB. Longer instrumentals are fine as long as they fit that size.
What genres work best?
Rap, trap, reggaeton, pop, drill, R&B, and melodic demos work especially well.
Can I use it before Suno or Udio?
Yes. Many AI music creators use a lyric-first workflow: match the lyric to the beat or tempo idea first, then bring the cleaner song structure into Suno, Udio, Mureka, or a recording session.
Can it help with rap, trap and reggaeton lyrics?
